Introducing Scaleup Launchpad program's sixth Estonian company - TrackDeep.
What is the core idea behind your company or product?
TrackDeep provides lower airspace data as a service, leveraging a proprietary drone sensor network to deliver cost-effective and reliable airspace insights.
Our mission is to create an ecosystem that empowers drone service providers to conduct autonomous flights safely and efficiently. Whether monitoring individual assets or securing nationwide critical infrastructure, our platform ensures airspace remains secure, organized, and optimized for seamless operations.
How well do you know the Swedish and Finnish markets in your industry?
Our knowledge of the Swedish and Finnish markets in our industry was initially limited. This is precisely why we joined this program—to gain a deeper understanding of these markets, their specific needs, and the best strategies for entering them successfully. We see this as a valuable opportunity to learn, connect with key stakeholders, and refine our approach to better serve customers in Sweden and Finland.
What are your company’s aspirations from this venture, and does it foresee a market debut in Finland or Sweden?
Through this program, we gained the confidence to connect with the Helsinki city government and present them with an opportunity to run a pilot project with us. They showed great interest in the idea, which has been an encouraging step forward in exploring the Finnish market. This experience has strengthened our aspirations to establish a presence in Finland and Sweden, and we look forward to further developing our market entry strategy based on the insights gained from this venture.
The program is almost halfway through – what have been your biggest ahaa moments or wins so far?
The biggest win for me has been finding an excellent mentor who has helped us better understand our current stage and determine whether or not we should raise funds from investors. Throughout this process, we have learned a lot about ourselves, gained valuable insights, and now have a much clearer vision of where the actual business opportunity lies for our company.
The second key moment I’d like to highlight was the seminar in Tartu, which was truly an eye-opener for us. It provided valuable insights on two main topics: how VC funds think and evaluate startups, and the key factors to successfully enter a new market. This knowledge has been instrumental in shaping our strategy moving forward.
What were your first impressions of other companies involved in the project?
I truly admire what all the participating companies are doing. Stay persistent, and success will follow. I believe that many highly successful companies will emerge from this Scaleup Launchpad session, and it's inspiring to be part of such a dynamic and ambitious group
