What is the core idea behind your company or product?
Our story began with a need to develop our own drone for inspecting power lines. A decade ago, consumer drones were not widely accessible. Since then, our founders have conducted numerous BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) flights, focusing on the key challenge: leveraging sensors to detect obstacles along the flight path and prevent collisions with other aircraft and objects.
The program aims to open new doors to the Finnish and Swedish markets. How familiar are you with these markets?
Our team has previous experience conducting BVLOS flights in Finland for power line monitoring. One such mission involved a custom-built drone flying from the mainland to Kaunissaari for post-storm inspections. Forest and power line monitoring share many parallels and we aim to contribute with our cost-effective drone solution to facilitate mapping flights, such as those needed for renewable energy project planning.

What do you hope to achieve during this time in the program, and does the plan foresee a market debut in Finland and Sweden?
We are grateful for the opportunity to participate in this program. Within just a few months, we have connected with key players in the industry. For example, through VTT, we established relationships with AFRY Smart Forestry's team and Arbonaut, which plays a significant role in laser scanning most of Finland's forests.
What were your first impressions of other companies involved in the project?
Our cohort is incredibly diverse and we admire the openness among the participating companies. We are genuinely impressed by the high quality of their projects. This program is highly beneficial, especially for operational businesses looking to overcome growth challenges. We are confident that all participating companies will find significant value in this experience.
